We hold as little as the service can work with, and we say plainly what that is. Nothing here is sold, and nothing is shared with anyone who is not needed to complete something you asked for.
What we hold
- Your phone number, because it is how the service works.
- Your messages, so a conversation can continue from where it left off.
- What you asked us to remember — sizes, preferences, the things you always order. You can see this list and remove anything from it.
- Delivery addresses you add, and the names of people you have things sent to.
- Your balance and your orders.
Identity details, and why
Some purchases cannot be made without them. An airline needs a passenger's name as it appears on a passport. A domain registrar needs a postal address for the owner. If you ask for those things, we hold what the supplier requires and no more. If you never ask, we never collect it.
Who else sees it
Only the supplier involved in what you asked for, and only the part they need: a delivery address goes to the shop sending the parcel, a passenger name goes to the airline. We do not send your details to anyone who is not completing something you asked for.
Your messages and the model
The agent is built on a large language model, so the text of your conversation is sent to the model provider to produce a reply. We do not send your identity details, your balance or your addresses unless the request needs them.
How long
Until you ask us to delete it. Text STOP to stop the service, or write to us to have everything removed. Deletion means deletion, not a flag on a row.
Asking
Write to spice@trybitbutler.com for a copy of what we hold, a correction, or removal.
