How could we solve what Visa, Coinbase and Google couldn't?
Remember the electric car? For twenty years GM, Toyota, Ford and the Germans planned, agreed on standards, sketched "prototypes" and "roadmaps".
Yet all these millions of meeting hours have not produced anything that, in practical terms, can compete with our garage-built beta.
But they have an even bigger problem.
The big 3%
Even if the giants could agree on a standard and hack together something that half-worked — they won't — or Instinct managed to solve the built-in privacy nightmare, the whole credit card concept of "we take 3% of all retail" that they all rest on will not survive an agentic world.
In the past, the card owned the checkout.
